Tehran Metro is offering subway tickets at half-price to students from the new school year (September 23). “All school and university students in age group 10-18 years can apply for the tickets which are valid for a year,” said Jafar Tashakkori Hashemi, traffic and transportation deputy at the Tehran Municipality. Students can also visit eticket.tehran.ir to sign up using their student ID numbers, he said, noting that universities can apply to get the cards in bulk by providing a list of students on the roster to the Traffic and Transportation Department, reports ISNA.
