Insurance coverage for four new drugs was approved by the Supreme Council of Health and presented to the government for follow-up action, said Ali Rabiei, minister of cooperatives, labor and social welfare.
The drugs are used in the treatment of patients with Multiple Sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, and shock due to blood poisoning, Alef News Agency quoted him as saying.
“We aim to expand national health insurance coverage for drugs which are used to treat certain diseases,” he added.
