The Iranian Red Crescent Society is training school students in rescue operations under a project ‘Student of Tough Times’, said president of the youth department at IRCS, Dr. Vahid Qobadi Dana. “The project will train 14-member student teams on first aid, rescue operations like drag and carry techniques, setting up tents, extinguishing fires, and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation),” he told ISNA. The teams will demonstrate their skills at local, provincial, and national level competitions later this year.
