Two new bus services in Tehran are plying 24-7 since September 5, said Peyman Sanandaji, managing director of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company.
One service runs from Rah Ahan (Railway) Square in downtown Tehran to Damavand Street in the eastern part of the city and the other from the Southern Bus Terminal to Ferdowsi Square, in central Tehran.
“The city needs more 24-hour services although the existing Bus Rapid Transit fleet plies till 1 am every morning,” Sanandaji told Mehr News Agency.
