Prawn and shrimp fishing season in Bushehr coastal waters of the Persian Gulf in southwest Iran that began on July 29 has ended now, said Hossein Bahmanyari, director general of Bushehr Fisheries Organization. During the 40 days permitted for fishing, fishermen caught about 1,220 tons of shrimp, IRNA quoted him as saying.
