School transport is undergoing strict inspection to be fully geared up for the next academic year starting September 23, said Vali Azarvash, director at Tehran Vehicle Technical Inspection Bureau.
“This year, similar to previous years, all school transport services should get their technical inspection labels before classes commence,” he said, ISNA reported.
Noting that the number of taxis seeking license for school transport has increased by 30% since last year, he asked applicants to visit vehicle technical inspection centers. “As the inspection protocol is stricter for taxis than private vehicles, they have a separate line to accelerate the process.”
