Four new drugs for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) were unveiled in the presence of Head of Food and Drug Administration Rasoul Dinarvand at Bakhtar Bioshimi Company in Kermanshah, in the western part of Iran.

“The drugs, Dimethyl fumarate, Valgancyclovir, Zidovudine/Lamivudine, and Fampridine, will be launched in the market soon and available for prescription as of next week,” said CEO Alireza Barazesh, IRNA reported.

Noting that 80% of drugs used by MS patients are locally produced, Dinarvand said, “The new drugs will alleviate the concerns of patients.”
