Nearly 460 handmade carpet weavers and 63 craftsmen were covered by insurance of the Social Security Organization recently, said Sirous Nasiri, director general of insurance at the SSO. “Providing insurance cover to all handmade carpet weavers who have received certification from technical and vocational training centers, is on our agenda,” ISNA quoted him as saying.
