The police will launch a campaign to target cars without safety inspection stickers. The Special Operations Commander of Tehran traffic police said the blitz will start from October 23 and the cars that have not gone through safety checks will be fined, ISNA reports. Col. Saeed Sepehri said the vehicles could be fined up to $7. All cars - whether private or public- should get their inspection stickers from the registered centers and police ‘’ will not let any car off the hook.’’
