The clinical deputy at the ministry of health said organ transplant for foreign nationals has been banned in the country to prevent “shady practices by certain doctors and private clinics.” According to ISNA, Dr. Ahmad Tara also said by transplanting kidneys to mainly foreign nationals in the past years, the rights of many Iranians had been infringed.
