The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Tehran will organize a capacity building workshop on ‘Migration and Development Nexus’ in Kish Island, on August 26-27.
The objective of the workshop is to address the issue of integrating the process of migration into development planning, and discuss the current challenges, Mehr News Agency reported.
Since 2004, the IOM has conducted several national and regional conferences and workshops on different aspects of migration for Iranian officials and policy makers involved in migration management and development issues.
The program material and curriculum have been developed based on the request of the Iranian government and IOM’s expertise in the field.
