An all-women hospital will be established in Tehran by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, says Health Minister Hassan Hashemi. “The entire hospital will be staffed by women only, from admission to discharge,” he said during a visit to the holy city of Qom to meet senior cleric Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani, reports IRNA. The project will meet the demand of women for a separate all-women’s hospital and will later be extended to other cities.
