Taxi drivers in Tehran will receive identification cards to be installed over the dashboard for passengers to see, said Maysam Mozaffar, managing director of Tehran Municipality Taxi Driving Company (TDC). "IDs will give each driver's information, previous record and qualification, plus the process of filing a complaint," he said, ISNA reported. Drivers will also receive star ratings according to their performance in terms of observing road rules, passenger services, responsibility, and participating in educational programs that will be displayed on the IDs.
