A deputy at the ministry of health announced a health package for city slums. Dr. Naser Kalantari said the package is part of the Health Reform Plan, which is aimed to revolutionize the national health care system, ISNA reported. He said the initiative makes it easy for slum and suburban dwellers to have access to medicines and health care facilities. Immunization, child and pregnant women care and diagnosis of non-contagious diseases like cancer, hypertension, diabetes and mental disorders are part of the package.
