In an effort to standardize hospitals affiliated to the Social Security Organization, they will be awarded star ratings over the next 20 months, said Mohammad Taghi Khosravani, general director of treatment at the SSO. “The facilities and infrastructure of all SSO hospitals will be overhauled or improved to meet the standards of the rating system,” he was quoted by ISNA as saying. The rating scheme seeks to help achieve global benchmarks in medical care.
