Nearly 200 primary school kids boarded the newly inaugurated Tehran – Karaj train to celebrate the National Children’s Day(October 8). According to ISNA, there were various cultural and entertainment programs designed for children on their two-way journey from Tehran to Karaj and back. On board was Mostafa Rahmandoust- the popular children’s poet and Alireza Hajianzadeh, head of the Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults. Gifts were also distributed among the children.
