Financial aid will be granted to foreign students studying in Iranian universities without a scholarship, said Dr. Samad Haj Jabbari, director general of Foreign Students’ Affairs at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. “A monthly grant of $60-100 (2-3 million rials) will be offered to the students based on their marital, academic and financial status and their academic progress,” he was quoted by ILNA as saying. Students at all academic levels can apply to their respective universities in this regard.
