The Salamat Barekat Foundation is constructing a 700-bed hospital in District 22, in western part of Tehran, on par with European standards. The hospital will have five specialty centers for emergency, heart surgery, orthopedics, general medicine and mother and child, the Persian language ‘Iran’ newspaper reported.
With 17 upper floors and five basements, the project is scheduled to be completed in 2018.
The foundation was established in 2007 to implement the guidelines of the Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in empowering people in lesser developed regions in the country.
