A State Welfare Organization plan calls for offering $3,125 as loan to help rehabilitate drug addicts. However, addicts should undergo necessary psychological counseling before the loan is granted, said Nourali Kazemi, an official at the SWO in Kohgiluye-Boyer Ahmad Province. Addicts who have recovered need support and the plan aims to help prevent them from relapsing into drug addiction, Alef News Agency quoted him as saying.
