The 21st outdoor market for food, clothing, handicraft and jewelry will be held to raise funds in support of working children on August 6-7 from 10 am to 10 pm, at Tehran’s Talash Complex in Valiasr Street.
The market is organized by the Society for Protecting Working Children (SPWC), reports the society’s website.
Established in 2002, the SPWC is a non-governmental organization that provides protection, support and education to vulnerable children, free of charge. It helps raise public awareness on working children and ways to support them, and offers policy advice to state officials.
