Haraz Road will become a four-lane highway by the end of this year (March 20, 2016), making driving hassle-free for those heading towards the northern Iranian provinces, said Ezatollah Yusefian Molla, Majlis (Parliament) representative from Amol. Protective safety barriers and guardrails will be installed next year, Alef News Agency quoted him as saying. He also announced the reopening of the road which was closed following damage by the recent storm.
