Working women will go through health screening in the current Iranian year (started March 21), said Mahrokh Bolouri, director general of the Office for Women’s Affairs in Zanjan Province governorate.
“Physical and mental wellbeing is important for a society’s overall health and therefore, we are planning to conduct health checks on female workers in certain organizations,” she said, ISNA reports.
A number of educational workshops on preventing diseases that exclusively affect women are also underway in cooperation with Mehraneh Charity, a charity that supports cancer patients in Zanjan.
