The communications and information technology minister has said “the ministry has no role in the slow performance” of the social networking service Viber. Mahmoud Vaezi said at a press meet that the ministry “has no intention to disrupt Viber and other social networking services, even if means a reduction in government revenue.” He further said efforts will continue to improve the quality of Internet nationwide, ISNA reports.
