Six rescue helicopters will be allocated to the IRCS by the end of the current year (started March 21), said Naser Charkhsaz, deputy head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society’s Relief and Rescue unit.
With the new choppers, the total number of IRCS helicopters will reach 21, IRNA quoted him as saying.
Also, “we are planning to replenish our inventories with relief materials, office equipment and supplies.”
