The Iran University of Science and Technology has signed a memorandum of understanding with the German Leibniz Institute for Primate Research.
The two educational institutes seek to cooperate in a number of areas including holding joint academic programs, student exchange programs and taking advantage of facilities each place offers, conducting joint research and creating a communication platform for instructors and professors, ISNA reports.
The center in Goettingen conducts biological and biomedical research on non-human primates within the fields of Infection Biology, Neurosciences and Organismic Primate Biology. It is ranked 146th in the QS World University Rankings and 101st globally based on the biometric system.
