The deputy traffic police chief confirmed that registration for two vehicle models – Pride and pick-up Nissan have been put on hold. Brigadier General Mousa Amiri told ISNA that the reason for their non-registration is because the two brands have not yet obtained the permit for new vehicle standards. Amiri also said that since September 23, it is mandatory for all cars to be equipped with fire extinguishers.
