The establishment of the Red Crescent, Red Cross University will soon come into force, following the ratification of the bill. Both domestic and international students will be admitted to the new varsity, said Amirmohsen Ziaee, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS). The university is expected to become the learning hub of the IRCS, covering macro topics in areas of voluntarism and peace, by offering high quality education to students in order to bring an international perspective to IRCS, ISNA reported.
“Crucial topics of integration and reinforcement of IRCS are our main objectives, which will be addressed by offering top quality academic education,” he said.
