General Director of Doctors Without Borders in France (or Médecins Sans Frontières) Méguerditch Tarazian has asked the Iranian Red Crescent Society to provide a platform for MSF to undertake humanitarian services in Syria and Somali through its good offices. “MSF are focused on supplying Yemen and Syria with medical support and lack of access to the victims is one of the major problems we are facing,” he said at a meeting with the head of IRCS Amir Mohsen Ziaee, on Monday, ISNA reported. Appreciating IRCS performance in global emergencies, Tarazian said “paucity of medication, food and fuel are major predicaments in Yemen.”
