Iran is participating in the 25th Regional Congress of the International Blood Transfusion Society (June 27-July 1) in London. Mostafa Moghaddam, head of Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization’s Immunohematology Laboratory is representing Iran, IRNA reported. The congress comprises plenary and parallel sessions and presentation of papers on state of the art technology on transfusion medicine. The sessions will also provide networking opportunities and the prospect to connect professionals with industry and vice versa. IBTS holds two regional congresses in odd years. The international congress is held in even years.
