Homeless to Be Screened

Homeless people in the capital’s shelters will be screened and grouped according to their problems including addiction, HIV infection and family conflicts, said Anoushiravan Mohseni Bandpei, head of the State Welfare Organization. All homeless people are not addicts or infected with diseases. Some only have family problems that can be solved with the SWO’s intervention, ISNA reported.  “We have already signed a MoU with three medical universities by which the latter have to screen and conduct health checks,” he added.
