Three Iranian universities were included in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2015. Sharif University of Technology, Isfahan University of Technology and Iran University of Science and Technology claimed the 43rd, 61st and 69th places respectively, ISNA reported. The annual rankings are based on the same criteria as the World University Rankings, powered by Thomson Reuters. World class universities are judged across all of their core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
