Restrictions in Tehran’s “odd or even” zones will be reduced by one hour during the holy month of Ramadan (starts June 18), said Col. Hassan Abedi, a traffic police official. “Restrictions will be lifted at 6 p.m. on week days and 1 p.m. on Thursdays during Ramadan to facilitate people who are fasting,” he said, Fararu website reported. However, there will be no change in the main traffic zones and restrictions will continue till 5 p.m. daily.
