The “Children’s Park” is in the final stages of construction and will be inaugurated in summer, said Ali Mohammad Mokhtari, head of Tehran Parks and Green Spaces.
The park, based on the theme “Tehran, a Child-loving City,” has been designed and constructed in District 18 in southwestern Tehran, covering an area of three hectares,” he said, Mehr News Agency reported. It provides space for entertainment and education of youngsters in different age groups.
The park has an alphabet city, biking track, amphitheater, skating rink, sandy playground, water fountain, playgrounds for different age groups, sports fields, library, and traffic safety education tracks.
