The health network is to be upgraded in towns with population less than 50,000, said Hassan Hashemi, minister of health and medical education. “Iran has the lowest medical tariff and we are making efforts to reduce medical expenses further and bring more people under health coverage if the reforms plan works well,” he said at the inauguration of the 184-bed hospital in Masjed Soleyman, IRNA reported.
