A quake of magnitude 4.4 Richter rattled the border areas of Fars, Bushehr and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Provinces in the early hours of Monday, IRNA reported. The seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, said the tremor occurred at 4:32 am local time, Alef News Agency reported. Three teams have been sent to the area to assess the post-quake situation. There were no reports of causalities.
