The Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) runs 21 health centers around the world, said Dr. Seyyed Amir Mohsen Ziaie, IRCS chief, in a meeting with Ruqayyah Ahmed Subu, Kenya’s ambassador to Tehran. Additionally, the IRCS has undertaken rescue operations in Pakistan, Somali, Syria, Iraq and Yemen. “Kenya can benefit from IRCS assistance in combating women’s epidemics, and improving vaccination plans in underprivileged areas, especially in Muslim districts,” Subu said.  He commended IRCS medical aid to Kenya, as well as its health center’s work in Nairobi, Mehr News Agency reported. Ziaie said Iran is willing to provide training to Kenyans in crisis management and health schemes.
