This year will see 800 million shrimps harvested in the southern Hormozgan waters, a two-fold increase compared to 436 million last year (ended March 20). Since the beginning of the current year, nearly 250 million shrimps have been harvested in ten shrimp farms, IRNA reports. Parviz Mohebbi, head of Hormozgan Fishery and Shrimp Farming said the industry has made remarkable contribution in job creation and promotion in Hormozgan Province.
