Establishment of a sport psychology federation “is crucial to keep the young generation on track and prevent social divergence,” stressed Dr. Mohammad Kazem Vaez Mousavi, scientific secretary of the 3rd National Conference on Sports and Psychological Health to be held in Tehran on May 30-31.
A federation similar to the European Federation of Sport Psychology “is a must for the nation,” IRNA quoted him as saying at a press briefing.
Mousavi has presented the proposal to the ministry of sports and youth affairs, and it is being reviewed.
