Representatives of the United Nations Office for Drug Control and Crime Prevention (ODCCP) visited the national Food and Drug Control Research Center (FDRC) “to inspect the testing procedures for chemical drugs, controlled substances, and narcotics at the laboratories,” said Mahmoud Alebouyeha, center’s executive manager. “The two officials visited various sections of the laboratory and enquired about the testing and control procedures and we provided them with ample explanations,” said Alebouyeha, ILNA reported. They also held meetings with director general of the Food and Drugs Administration Mahdi Pirsalehi, and head of FDA’s narcotics and controlled substances, Sadollah Parvizi.
