The deputy chief of traffic police has appealed to school children to help police enforce traffic safety regulations. According to ISNA, General Mousa Amiri told school children to politely request their parents “to first and foremost observe the speed limit” and to make sure that motorists wear their helmets. He also urged students to fasten their seat belts “not just in the front seat, but in the back seat as well.”
