Erfan Parviz Ansari, 83, former chief editor of the English-language Tehran Times newspaper from 1979 till 2003, passed away on Thursday after an extended illness.
His funeral was held on Friday morning and he was buried at the Behesht-e-Zahra Cemetery, Alef News Agency reported.
