Motorcycle ‘ambulances,’ providing emergency services, will start operating within cities with populations of more than 500,000, says Mohammad Aghajani, deputy for curative affairs at the ministry of health. “Given the heavy traffic jams in metropolises, these emergency vehicles are planned to accelerate response to a medical emergency, and will be operational during the rush hours,” he said, reports ILNA. The motorcycle ambulances will be fully equipped and operated by experienced paramedics.
