Permanent Scars

Genetic factors and nutritional deficiency in iron, zinc and protein are among the most important reasons for slow wound healing.
As a rule superficial scars and bruises shouldn’t remain on healthy people's skins. Scars are not a symptom of disease but a sign of malnutrition, said Dr. Amir Houshang Ehsani, dermatologist.
People must use healing ointment immediately after observing ulcers on their skin, as it helps, he said.
Scars and bruises on children disappear quickly, ISNA reported.
