The National Public Report System for registration of requests and complaints by the general public via SMS was recently launched, said Gholamreza Basiripour, chairman of the Supreme Council of Provinces. “The system was set up to facilitate a direct link between people and council bodies, particularly in rural areas,” ISNA quoted him as saying. There are currently three people tasked with reading the reports and taking necessary action while some would be addressed by Basiripour himself. The service is available at 20002356, as well as on the council’s website at www.shoraha.org.ir.
