Eating fast food or processed items such as sausages and deli meat can cause eczema, according to dermatology expert Dr. Gholamreza Eshghi.
“Various factors including air pollution could also contribute to its development, so people exposed to any kind of contamination must attend to their skin on priority,” ISNA quoted him as saying.
Dermatitis or eczema is inflammation of the skin. It is characterized by itchy, erythematous (red), vesicular, weeping, and crusting patches. One possible cause of the condition is a dysfunctional interplay between the immune system and skin.
Using moisturizing soaps and creams, or anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive ones like betamethasone, soft detergents, and edible pills are among the remedies.
