Iran-China positive political relations have led to a boost in ties with Chinese universities and research centers, said Minister of Science, Research and Technology Dr. Mohammad Farhadi in a meeting with Bai Chun-Li, head of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Chun-Li also highlighted the importance of Iran-China scientific ties and referred to the high potentials of the Chinese Academy of Science and its affiliated bodies to work in partnership with Iran. The two sides agreed to establish a joint workgroup to specify the fields of cooperation within the frame of an agreement, Mehr News Agency reported.
