Manuchechr Danesh Pajouh, veteran literature professor and Iranologist, passed away on Saturday, (May 2) due to heart and kidney ailments.
Danesh Pajouh was a renowned author, researcher, and retired professor of Farsi literature and Iranian sciences.
‘Encyclopedia of Iran’, ‘A Study on Safavid Travelogues’, and ‘Interpretation of The Panchatantra’ are among his many legacies, ISNA reported.
He will be laid to rest in the artists section of the Behest-e-Zahra Cemetery in Tehran.
