Attending kindergartens is not part of the compulsory education system, Rokhsareh Fazli, director of Pre-Primary Education at the ministry of education said. Kindergarten is an essential experience as it involves learning various skills such as articulation, social bonding, physical activities, and games, she said, quoted by Mehr News Agency. Fazli noted that education coverage improved by 14%, reaching 52%, or covering 13.5 million students in the country.”In West Azerbaijan, 22,000 students are covered thanks to teachers working in multiple shifts a day. We plan to train kindergarten teachers at an advanced level for certification as professionals,” Fazli said, stressing that “preschool years are critical in the formation of a child’s identity.”
