A plan to name a street after Hossein Qandi, well-known Iranian journalist who passed away recently, was approved by the Tehran City Council at its 148th meeting on Tuesday. Qandi was known for his journalistic skills, in particular writing influential headlines. He has written several books, most of which are part of the university curriculum in teaching journalism, IRNA reported.
