Medical tariffs have increased by 15% at different levels of specialties, including general practitioners as well as specialized and sub-specialized physicians, following approval by the board of ministers, said Dr. Mohammad Aghajani, deputy health minister.
The visit fee now charged by GPs, specialized and sub-specialized physicians, is $3, $3.5 and $4, respectively, in state-run hospitals, and $5.5, $9 and $11 in private hospitals, Mehr News Agency reported.
